Weddings nowadays are all about creativity. They don’t have to be expensive and grand, but they do have to show some style! In this week’s post I am going to show you some new ideas for floral wedding accessories. Be it a handbag or a ring pillow, flowers can always add a touch of magic to your wedding. the trick is: it’s all in the details!
Novelty ring pillows

Eversince this design was published in the press, people have come far and wide looking for this sort of designs. It has to be popular, and I can see why! Pleasantly wrapped in leaves of different kinds, the ball shaped ring pillow is stylish and delicate. Ribbons and flowers are then added to hold the two rings in the middle. Perfect for civil weddings.
Floral ring pillows of this sort is light weight, and are fairly durable. They can last up to a week and more if sprayed with water everyday. They can also be dried later on and be kept as a momento.

Another type of ring pillow can be made with leaves folded up to create an effect of a ribbon nest. Complete with two cymbidium orchids in the middle, each holding a wedding ring, this design guarantees to be a talking point on its own.
The tote bag favour piece

Made with Hechera leaves as the body of the bag and black cordyline leaves as the handles, this remarkable tote bag is only as big as a can of soft drink. Filled with sweet peas and chocolate cosmos and garnished with strands of black currants, it makes the most special favour for an alfresco wedding. it is a personal favourite of mine.
The fruity handbag
This is perfect for the bridesmaids. Covered in galax leaves with berries of different varities dangling from their stalks, this very cute handbag is stuffed full of orchids. Each orchid is attached to a water tube so they will last and last. It is also very light weight so it won’t be like going to the gym! Would it not just be great if all of your bridesmaid can have one of these each?

The hydrangea pomander
A pomander can be an alternative wedding bouquet. Packed with hydrangea florets in different shades of purple, this pomander is perfect for a lively young bride. Similar pomanders can be made in different sizes for flower girls and bridesmaids to provide stylistic consistency. It can even be a decoration for your ceremony. Just hang rows of them up along the aisle, they will look great and give an instant impression!
