The brief of this project was to create a country style wedding with a touch of femininity. To match with the great outdoor setting at Beas River, the colour theme was mainly lilac, pink and various pastel shades. This colour scheme can be a bit of a gamble if used indoor, but here in the nature with all its greens and sunlight, it couldn’t have been better chosen.
The same colour scheme was used all the way from the bridesmaids’ dresses, their bouquets, to the ribbon on the napkin at the lunch reception, presenting a unique and personalized story.

Above: The bride is carry white peony bouquet with a touch of hyacinth florets, accentuating her textured gown and tying in with the lilac theme.

Above: The programme of the wedding is printed on a lilac fan, and tins of rose petal confetti are decked with butterflies.

Above: The bridesmaids carry posies of roses, ranuculus and grape hyacinth, matching their lilac gowns.

Above: At the lunch reception, centrepieces of mixed garden flowers in rustic tin pots line the tables. Rose petals in different shades of pastel colours add to the relaxed country look of the whole scheme.

Above: The table setting is further enhanced by the napkin designs with simple orchids and dusty miller leaves. The tone of the ribbon is also in accordance with the lilac theme.
