There will be 3 floral arranging courses and 2 Easter/Spring workshops available at Solomon Bloemen this March and April 2009. Below are the relevant information:
Easter/spring workshop 1 (Spring topiary with Spring bulb flowers)
Date: Friday 10 April 09
Time: 2:30pm- 5:00pm
Content: Create a spring topiary with European bulb flowers (tulips, iris, ranuculus, daffodils and hyacinths!)
Fee: HK 880 per person (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size:6 persons Max each session.
Easter/spring workshop 2 (Floral Easter egg)
Date: Saturday 11 April 09
Time: 10:30pm- 1:30pm
Content: Create a larger-than-life Easter Egg with spring floral to celebrate Easter!
Fee: HK 880 per person (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size:6 persons Max each session.
Technique based floral design. 5 lessons course (5 different techniques) * For students with preliminary flower arranging knowledge
Dates : Wednesday 4, 11, 18, 25 Mar 1 April 09
Time : 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Content: Sets of 5 techniques in floral designs, such as gluing, pinning, stacking, weaving, bundling. Combined with colour theories and basic design concepts.
Fee: HK2,000 (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size: 6 person Max.
Western style flower arranging. 5 lessons course (5 different styles).
Dates : Saturday 7,21,28 Mar, 4,18 April
Time: 2:30 pm- 4:30 pm
Content: Basics of flower arranging: conditioning of different floral materials, modern styles of flower arranging, basic techniques, colour matching, basic visual theories.
Fee: HK3,500 (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size:6 persons Max.
Bridal bouquet styles 5 lessons course (5 different styles).
Dates: Saturday 7,14,21,28 Mar, 4 April
Time: 10:30 am- 12:30pm
Content: Different styles of bridal bouquets: conditioning of different floral materials, basic mechanics and techniques, colour matching, hand tied bouquets, bouquet holders, wired bouquets.
Fee: HK3,800 (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size:6 persons Max.
