Courses for Jan/Feb 09 and Chinese New Year workshops

There will be 3 floral arranging courses and 3 Chinese New Year workshops available at Solomon Bloemen in January and February 2009. Below are the relevant information:

Chinese New Year workshop 1 (Chinese New year arrangement with bamboo)
Date: Friday 23 JAN 09
Time: AM Session 10:30am-12:30pm, PM Session 2:30pm- 5:00pm (Same content as AM session)
Content: Create a serene and elegant arrangement with bamboo, orchids, willows and seasonal flowers to celebrate the new year!
Fee: HK 1,200 per person (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size:6 persons Max each session.

Chinese New Year workshop 2 ( garden style arrangement with Pine) (FULL)
Date: Saturday 24 JAN 09
Time: AM Session 10:30am-12:30pm (FULL), PM Session 2:30pm- 5:00pm (FULL)(Same content as AM session)
Content: Arrange a lovely natural style spring garden with seasonal flora and pine to welcome the year of the ox!
Fee: HK 1,200 per person (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size:6 persons Max each session.

Chinese New Year workshop 3 (FULL)
Date: Sunday 25 DEC
Time: 10:30pm- 12:30pm
Content: Impress your guests and relatives this Chinese New year, create a serene and elegant arrangement with bamboo, orchids, willows and seasonal flowers to celebrate the new year!
Fee: HK 1,200 per person (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size:6 persons Max.

Technique based floral design. 5 lessons course (5 different techniques) * For students with preliminary flower arranging knowledge (FULL)
Dates : Wednesday 7, 14, 21 Jan, 4 Feb
Time : 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Content: Sets of 5 techniques in floral designs, such as glueing, pinning, stacking, weaving, bundling. Combined with colour theories and basic design concepts.
Fee: HK1,980 (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size: 6 person Max.

Western style flower arranging. 5 lessons course (5 different styles). (FULL)
Dates : Saturday 3,17,31 Jan, 7,14 Feb
Time: 2:30 pm- 4:30 pm
Content: Basics of flower arranging: conditioning of different floral materials, modern styles of flower arranging, basic techniques, colour matching, basic visual theories.
Fee: HK3,500 (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size:6 persons Max.

Bridal bouquet styles 5 lessons course (5 different styles). (FULL)
Dates: Saturday 3,17,31 Jan, 7,14 Feb
Time: 10:30 am- 12:30pm
Content: Different styles of bridal bouquets: conditioning of different floral materials, basic mechanics and techniques, colour matching, hand tied bouquets, bouquet holders, wired bouquets.
Fee: HK3,800 (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size:6 persons Max.
