For this August and September of 2010, SOLOMON BLOEMEN
is offering 7 classes for those who are interested in floral designs.

Details are as follows:

BD1. Bridal floral designs I (Beginners) (5 lessons course 5 different designs)
Dates: Suns 22,29 Aug,12,26 Sept, 3oct
Time: 10:30am-12:30pm
Content: New Introduction to bridal floral designs: conditioning of different floral materials, hand tied bouquets, bouquet holders. floral ring pillows and corsages.
Fee: HK4,800 (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size:6 persons Max.

BD2. Bridal floral designs II (Intermediate) lessons course (5 different designs)
Dates: Weds: 11,18,25 Aug, 1,8 Sept
Time: 7:00pm- 9:00pm
Content: Different designs of bridal bouquets: conditioning of different floral materials, mechanics and techniques, colour matching, hand tied bouquets, bouquet holders, wired bouquets, corsages.
Fee: HK4,800 (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size:6 persons Max.

BD 3 Bridal floral designs III (Advanced) lessons course (5 different designs) (FULL)
Dates: Sats: 21,28 Aug, 4,11,18 Sept
Time: 10:30am - 12:30pm
Content: Different designs of bridal bouquets: Design principles, design techniques, period and modern designs.
Fee: HK4,800 (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size:6 persons Max.

FD1. Simple stylish floral designs. 5 lessons course (5 different designs) suitable for beginners and flower lovers. (1 Space left)
Dates : Weds: 11,18,25 Aug, 1,8 Sept
Time : 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Content: 5 different style of arranging flowers in simple but stylish way. From the most basic and essential to the more elaborate and fancy. Combined with basic knowledge of material handling and design concepts.
Fee: HK 4,500 (all floral materials and vases are inclusive)
Class size: 6 person Max.

FD2. Creative floral designs. (5 lessons course)
Dates : Sats: 21,28 Aug, 4,11,18 Sept
Time : 2:30pm - 4:30pm
Content: 5 creative ways to approach floral designs, including colour matching and various technical skills such as gluing, pinning and weaving. This course will also explore possibilities with different containers such as glass and pottery with various forms of support mechanisms (oasis, wire, pinholder etc)
Fee: HK4,500 (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size: 6 person Max.

FD3. Flowers for Home (5 lessons course) (FULL)
Dates Suns: 22,29 Aug,12,26 Sept, 3Oct
Time: 2:30pm - 4:30pm
Content: A home will not be a home without flowers. Let your flowers be the extension of your taste, create fabulous arrangements and bouquets for your home. Learn to create 5 different styles to match your tastefully decorated home. From traditional European all the way to minimal and baroque, this is a course for all home lovers.
Fee: HK4,700 (all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size:6 persons Max.

(NEW)! FT1. Experimental Flower designs (4 lesson course)
Dates: Mons: 16,23,30 Aug 6 Sept
Time: 2:30pm-4:30pm
Content: A focused four lessons course on developing floral design skills and experimenting with materials.
Each lesson will focus on one type of flower and students are encouraged to explore and experiment with the possibilities of the subject matter under guidance.
Release the artist within you and be surprised by what you can do with flowers!
Fee: HK3,600 ( all floral materials are inclusive)
Class size: 5 persons MAX.
